“Taking Chances” – Celine Dion

I am becoming obsessed with this song!  I also love the version sung by Kara DioGuardi, and the Glee Cast Version!  It’s so…uplifting, the words and the rhythm of the beat makes you want to stand up and dance…or something less subtle if you’re in a public area…:D

I love Celine Dion’s voice.  Ever since I was young I thought her voice was ethereal.  There is no other singer like her!  I chose to show this behind-the-scenes video because I think it’s more entertaining to watch than her performances.  And as I was searching her live performances, I noticed that her live singing sounds the same as her recording!  I can’t believe it!

Charice Pempengco

WOW!  How come I have never heard of this girl before!?  She is just amazing!  I was watching the Skate for The Heart 2010 and saw her performance, and I had to look her up!!!  I’m keeping my eye on this girl.  She will accomplish great things!

“Love Yourself” – Kat-tun

I just saw this new music video of Kat-tun.  I feel so bad that I haven’t watched Cartoon Kat-tun in so long >_<!  But I’m really glad I saw this video ^_^.  Junno…changed his hair…Since when, I have no idea, but it reminds me of a shorter version of his blonde hair when he was filming Yukan Club.  I don’t really know for sure if I like it or not…

I like this video!  The beat is cool, and the heart changed color with every Kat-tun member.  Junno was green!  Yay! ^_^

Oooooooooh…O_O

I just finished watching Undercover Boss.  This is my first time watching this show and I like it.  It shows dedication and appreciation to have an important CEO to go undercover and work for the company you own for a week.  I am especially excited for the next episode about the Hooters bar.  I saw the previews and I was appalled by how the waitresses were treated-or should I say “mistreated”!  I can’t wait to see what happens!

Superbowl results…T_T

I am sad that the Colts lost.  Even though I had a felling that the Saints would win, it still is sad :( .  But I really feel bad for all those who bet big money on the Colts O_O’.

I congratulate the Saints because they remained steady, and ended up dominating the 4th quarter.  The Colts tried their best, but unfortunately the 4th quarter turned the tables.

For not really being interested in watching the Superbowl, it was really interesting.  Now I know why my neighbors yell so loudly when their team scores a touchdown :D !  I think the best part about watching the game is that there is no hard feelings.  The best of the best played their hearts out, and fans got to watch that evolve into a spectacular game.

The only bad thing for me and my mom is that we owe my dad $1.  He’s such an annoying kid, bragging and being stupid that the Saints won :P .

Anyway, I still have homework to complete, and a lot more studying to do for upcoming midterms.  Yikes! O_O

Superbowl Sunday

I’m not really into sports, so I don’t watch a lot of sports.  I would rather play sports than watch them…but I hardly play them…O_o

Even though I am not a big sports fan, I want to watch this season’s Superbowl just because I like both the Saints and the Colts :D .  I am hoping that the Colts win because I like Peyton Manning :D .  But even though I want the Colts to win I have a feeling that the Saints are going to win just because they seem to be a strong team!

By the way, I think it’s really funny that Peyton and Eli are footballers :P .  I know their dad was a quarterback, but I have a hard time imagining them as footballers.  I could see them as baseball players, or even golfers :P .  Maybe it’s because they don’t look as muscular than their teammates, who have bigger builds.  Just a little funny thought. ^_^

I went to my friend’s house a little while ago to work on homework.  Usually we would meet in the afternoon, but since the Superbowl was today, wanted to get things done before it was on.  I feel bad though because when I called her, asking if I could come over early, I realized that my call was her alarm clock to wake up.  Oops :P !

Getting better -_-’

I’ve been sick for almost a week now, but I feel better.  I’ve been trying to take care of myself, and I hope that’s the reason why I’m getting better.  My nose is still stuffy, but I don’t wake up in the middle of the night anymore! ^_^

I don’t have classes today, but I feel good because I got started on my homework and stuff.  Usually I would wait until the last minute but I feel like being a good student.  And it’s good that I’m getting a head start now since my midterms are coming up, and I need to study.

Later this afternoon I plan to go to my friend’s house so we can do our homework and study study study!!!  I really need to read the textbooks.  Hehe :P .

Oh yeah, so yesterday was my presentation day…I think I screwed up a little (more like a lot) on my presentation, but I think I did a good job making the handouts for my classmates so even if they didn’t understand what I said, then that should help them! ^_^

I watched Ugly Betty yesterday, and one part of the episode was about Betty winning an award for her blog!  I wish I could be like Betty and influence people in a positive way!  But the bad thing was that she vented in her blog, and the people found out who she was talking about even though no names were mentioned.  That’s really scary! >_<  I never want that happening to me!

My mom told me a few days ago that this season would be the last season for Ugly Betty!  I am really sad.  The main reason why I watched the show was because I wanted Betty to reveal how beautiful she is!  I just hope the last episode is an ending worthy enough for Ugly Betty and its fans!

Speaking of beauty, I was watching t.v. and there was this show where a model was being interviewed.  The model was asked by the interviewer on her opinion of a beautiful person.  She replied something to the affect of, “A beautiful person is one who is happy.”  I want to find that actual quote, but I don’t remember who the model was. T_T  I’ll find it one day.  But I really liked that quote!

I watched Barbra Streisand’s movie, The Mirror Has Two Faces.  I heard about the movie, and it seemed interesting so I wanted to watch it!  Apparently I watched it a long time ago, I just never realized it was that movie!  I love that movie, and I want to watch it again!  Barbra Streisand is such a talented singer, actress, director, and producer!  I also loved her in Funny Girl.

Wow, I didn’t intend to write so much, but I’m glad I did!

Being sick sucks butt!

I don’t want to be sick anymore.  It’s so hard to sleep because my nose gets plugged, and there is no way I can sleep while standing up! O_o

Today the weather was really bad.  It rained hard from the morning to early afternoon!  I didn’t know it was going to rain, and I only had a thin sweater to cover me.  By the time I got home I was drenched!  And it didn’t help that I am sick!  But as soon as I got home I changed out of my wet clothes, hung them to dry, and clothed myself with a long-sleeve shirt, long flannel pants, a fluffy robe, and two layers of socks :D !  Even my underwear were soaked so I had to change my undies :P ! O_o? so…

Anyway,  I’m done with preparing for my presentation tomorrow!  My dad’s printer was being mean, as it always is.  I was so frustrated that I was tempted to hit it with a hammer forcing my dad to buy a new one >_<.  It’s not like I can’t use that printer, it’s just that it’s old, so there are always malfunctions.  If my printer had ink I would have used it, but I won’t get ink until later this week. T_T

Then the only things I will have to do is write down notes for Botany, and make notes on my internet source for English.  Then I can sleep!

Hate being sick! >_<

I just caught a cold this weekend and the thing I hate about getting sick is that my nose gets all plugged up so that it’s hard to breathe, especially when try to sleep!  I’m so gr!

And I have an oral presentation for English class on Wednesday, and it turns out I’m the first one presenting since the other who were supposed to go before me didn’t show up to class on the days they were supposed to present.  Oh well, I just want to get it over with.  It’s only ten minutes, but I’m still scared that I will forget the information!!!  I hope I do well.  And I hope I get over this cold A.S.A.P.!!!

It’s time for me to go to sleep.  Then tomorrow, I can worry about preparing for my presentation, doing homework, taking notes, and studying for an upcoming mid-term exam.  Yay *sarcasm*.

The little things that make you ^_^

This morning I woke up early so that I could hike with my dad!  Yay!  Even though we didn’t  go all the way we had good reasons…like it looked like it was going to rain (which it didn’t :P ).  Fine, I confess…we were too lazy and tired to go all the way.  It’s not our fault!  The last part is really steep!  But we promised ourselves that we’ll get better next time…

I’m planning to go to my friend’s house to do our lovely homework!  Doing the homework is much more fun when you do it with friends…as long as we don’t get too distracted :P !  And if we don’t understand something, we don’t need to call each other and waste our minutes and texts :D !

Something made me really happy!  My manager is so nice and sweet ^_^!!!  Even though I don’t work there anymore, my manager called me just to remind me that the store was holding a party for all employees tonight, and wondering if I was planning to come.  Unfortunately, I had to decline since I have school the next day, but I was so happy that she was considerate enough to call me!  She’s my favorite manager!!!  She’s going on maternity leave soon and I wish her the best of luck, health, and happiness!

I love the title of this blog.  We need to appreciate the little things in life because it’s the little things that make up our lives.  Without them, life wouldn’t be fun!

Getting Better…

Sorry I haven’t been blogging as much!

School is…not bad, but I don’t like reading the books!  >_<  I’m falling behind on the readings, but I plan to catch up next weekend!

There are times when I feel I don’t procrastinate as much as I used to…but it’s still a work in progress.  I feel like a nerd for talking about school, but I’m really  proud of myself.  I’m taking notes, and they’re actually organized!  Yay for my high school AP Psych teacher, who taught me how to write good notes that I actually understand! ^_^

I have two 250-word postings that I have to turn in online, so I plan to do it…eventually…before the day ends :P .  Then I have to start on a first draft of a minor paper, and turn it in online tomorrow.  But the worst part is that I have to do a small 10-minute presentation, and I still don’t know what I’m going to do!!!  So much for being a good student! >_<

Recently I have the song “Baby” by Justin Bieber featuring Ludacris stuck in my head.  I don’t know why I like the song since it’s so annoying, but it’s also catchy.  That Justin boy, he has a pretty good voice, but he’s so young, and he’s talking about love and relationships.  It’s kind of scary… O_o

I think I’m losing weight :D !!!  It’s not drastic or anything, but my weight is steady.  I gained a lot of weight the summer before my senior year of high school, and it’s finally starting to decrease!  I hope I can keep this up.

I plan to go hiking with my dad this afternoon!  I can’t wait, since I didn’t go hiking at all last week :( .

So…I spent a good half-an-hour eating a yummy sandwich that my mom and I made together, and talking about randomness :D .  And for a small dessert we each had one chocolate-covered strawberry!  Yummy!
